As the name suggests, Mraz Family Farms belongs to Jason Mraz, the two-time Grammy-winning singer-songwriter who penned “I’m Yours” back in the oughts. It is situated in the Morro Hills region near Oceanside in San Diego County, which places it 10 degrees north of the traditional coffee belt. This northern latitude, combined with excellent soil, a unique microclimate, and low elevation, helps produce conditions similar to high-altitude coffee farms in the tropics.
